Have you experienced the gliding sport and now desire to give back? Or do have a general interest in gliding and want to help young people and especially women together with the disabled to experience it? Welcome to this page. Here, you will find interesting articles about the gliding sport. The articles address the advantages of the sport in enabling the young and disabled to:

  • Experience friendship and adventure
  • Acquire social and interpersonal skills
  • Develop teamwork and discipline
  • Integrate with people of all ages and backgrounds

Giving towards this cause is done through bursaries and grants to individuals or gliding clubs which have programs for the young and the disabled. This can be in the form of monthly contributions, single donations or through a bequest. The bursaries help young people to receive training in order to become solo gliders or instructors and to achieve their set objective. For the disabled, the funds go towards the purchasing of specialist equipment and payment of fees for flying.

You will also find articles that help build your confidence in giving. You will learn that the little you may have is not little at all. Additionally, the articles will enable you to secure your giving, ensuring that you do not fall victim to scam sites.

You will be inspired by the impact you may make through giving. This is in the sense that once one begins gliding at the age of 13, they can continue with it through to retirement. This will help you come to the appreciation that the support you give is rewarded through a lifetime of taking part in the sport.
